The range
Four blends.
Four colours.
Every box is blended in small batches, sealed in compostable bags and packed flat enough to slip through the letterbox. Each blend has its own colour, so you can spot it at the back of the cupboard.

The house rules
The proper brew, in four drops.
We've argued about it so you don't have to. Four steps, roughly five minutes.
-
01
Kettle to 98°C
Freshly drawn water, just off the boil. Reboiled water tastes flat, and so will your tea.
-
02
Bag in first
The bag goes in before the milk. Always. We won't be taking questions.
-
03
Four minutes
Three if you're in a hurry, five if you're from Yorkshire. Give it a squeeze if you must.
-
04
Milk, then a biscuit
A splash until it's the colour of a digestive. Then dunk one, and be quick about it.

Overheard at the kettle
Rather good,
apparently.
"The Builder's Brew is the first bag that's survived my dad's five-minute stewing without going bitter. He's been sending boxes to his brother in Leeds."
"Proper bergamot, not the perfume-counter stuff. The cornflower in the bag is a lovely touch."
"The standing order just turns up. I skipped a month over summer with two clicks. Faultless."
